Twenty-twenty four has been a big year – with major events across the globe. Our founder, Asha Agarwal, shares some of her highlights from the past 12 months:
This year I was honoured to receive industry recognition at several prestigious awards, being a finalist for ‘Professional of the Year – Independent’ at the Inside Housing Women In Housing Awards 2024 and in the ‘Women of the Year – Residential’ category at the Inspiring Women in Property Awards. Getting a chance to see things from the other side, later in the year, I served as a judge for the WhatHouse? Awards – seeing some of the UK’s best apartments.
Inspire New Homes have enjoyed our continued relationship with Islington Council, achieving 85% off-plan sales at Canonbury Corner, nearing sell-out at King Grove, and preparing the marketing strategy for Elthorne Estate. The launch of the refreshed In Islington sales will be coming in early 2025. Collaboration was a key theme throughout 2024 – and some of our new clients include Medway and Newham Councils.
Public speaking has been a significant personal milestone in 2024. I participated in my first Shared Ownership Seminar Panel at the What House New Home show hosted by Laura Hamilton. Later in the year, I joined a speaking panel at CityScape Global in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity allowed me to engage with the Saudi market and discuss topics such as affordable homes and the customer buyer journey.
Innovation and strategic thinking were at the forefront of Inspire New Homes’ initiatives this year. One highlight was designing and launching the Why Inspire USP document, which redefined how we articulate our value proposition and strengthened our market presence.
As this year comes to a close, I’m immensely proud of the partnerships, milestones, and lessons learned in 2024. I am looking forward to a 2025 filled with new opportunities, collaboration, and even greater impact.
